Slowly a dark black figure slunk out of the den. Her eyes, one blue and one brown glaced around the camp. A few warriors were near by sharing tounges. She looked over at the apprentice den and knew what needed to be done. Koalaclan's only apprentice needed to be given a mentor. It had not been done yet and she knew she shouldn't have let Brownpaw go this long without training or a mentor. She padded towards the highrock and lept upon it. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey join beneath the high rock for a clan meeting!" She yeowled.

Greystripe trotted towards the rock and sat down. His grey blackstriped pelt stood out as he looked up at Cometstar, and then glanced around, waiting for the other cats to come to the rock. Sometimes it annoyed him how long it took, then again, he was always a little impatient.
Nightsong slipped out of the bushes and walked unhurriedly to the front of the rock. He sat down and curled his tail over his paws before licked at a paw, waiting for the others to join. The impatience that showed in Greystripe's eyes annoyed him a little, for he didn't like impatient cats, things would happen when they did, being impatient wouldn'y speed it up.
Brownpaw heard Cometstar's call and dashed out of the apprentices den. His ear and nose twitched as he determined where he should halt. He slowed his pace a little as he neared Nightsong and Greystripe. He seated himself a little behind them and then raised his head towards Cometstar, wondering what the meeting was for.

A black and white cat came through the clearing and gazed up at Cometstar. Longbelly wondered what the meeting was about, but didn't fret about it. He licked his paw casually and scanned the area with his light green eyes.

A black and white tom walked causually over towards the highrock and sat down by himself. Rainstorm made sure that there was a spot open beside him.
Lostheart padded over and seated herself right next to her brother in the open spot. She licked her front paw and looked up at Cometstar

Nightsong smiled. 'Hi. Who do you think'll get to be mentors?' He glanced at the apprentices that were soon to have mentors. How exciting. He smiled to himself, remembering his mentor, how exciting that had been to train with him. Exciting, fun, but a little hard at times too. He chuckled, everything in this world was hard at some point.
